Focused baseline for small organizations

Understand the dependencies. Identify the operational risks. Prioritize the improvements.

The Digital Operations Checkup gives owners and managers a practical baseline of the accounts, people, providers, information and recovery arrangements the organization depends on. It is deliberately narrower than the comprehensive AI & Digital Operations Review.

Designed for organizations that need clarity before complexity.

The Checkup is intentionally scaled for solo operators, family-run businesses, professional offices and small teams whose technology has grown faster than their documentation and oversight.

01

Everything appears to work

But nobody has recently confirmed ownership, recovery authority, administrator access or provider responsibility.

02

Knowledge sits with one person

Important account, vendor or recovery information is held by an owner, employee or outside provider.

03

A decision needs evidence

Leadership needs a reliable baseline before changing providers, renewing insurance, adopting new tools or investing in controls.

The essential dependency picture, without turning it into a comprehensive Review.

The Checkup concentrates on the few areas most likely to reveal immediate ownership, continuity and recovery concerns.

01

Critical ownership

Main domains, cloud tenants, websites, billing relationships, administrator roles and business-controlled recovery routes.

02

People & provider dependency

Key staff, outside providers, urgent contacts, shared knowledge and access that may depend on one person or company.

03

Information & recovery visibility

Where priority information is kept, known backup coverage, obvious exclusions and whether recovery responsibility is clear.

04

Immediate priorities

The unresolved ownership, access, documentation and testing issues most likely to affect operations.

The Checkup identifies where deeper work is warranted. It does not pretend to complete it all.

This narrower scope prevents the Checkup from duplicating the comprehensive Review or the Break-Glass service.

  • No detailed AI use-case inventory or organization-wide AI governance design.
  • No deep vendor-contract, privacy or data-flow analysis.
  • No representative restore testing unless separately scoped.
  • No complete emergency authority and continuity record.
  • No certification, legal opinion or guarantee of security.

A baseline that can be acted on.

The final format is matched to the scope, with enough detail to assign responsibility without burying a small organization in enterprise paperwork.

Dependency summary

The main accounts, people, providers, information and recovery arrangements the organization relies on.

Operational risk findings

Observed gaps, assumptions and unanswered questions organized by business impact.

Prioritized improvements

A realistic action sequence for ownership, access, recovery and documentation.

Management discussion

A plain-language review of decisions, responsibilities and possible next steps.

Use the Control Check to identify the likely starting point.

The free interactive check provides an immediate directional result without collecting an email address. It cannot verify the organization’s real accounts, providers or recovery arrangements.

  • Focused checks take about 90 seconds.
  • The complete 13-question Control Check takes about 3 minutes.
  • Choose Backup & Recovery, AI & Information, Cybersecurity & Staff Readiness, or Ownership & Continuity.

What the Checkup is—and is not.

Scope is confirmed before work begins so the client knows what evidence will be reviewed, what will be delivered and where another service or specialist may be required.

How is the Checkup different from the free Control Check?

The free check is a self-assessment. The paid Checkup reviews the organization’s real accounts, responsibilities and available evidence, then provides prioritized findings.

How is the Checkup different from the full AI & Digital Operations Review?

The Checkup is deliberately narrower. It is intended for a small organization that needs a practical baseline before deciding whether a deeper review is justified.

Will CyberTECT need passwords or unrestricted access?

No. Evidence is gathered using the least access reasonably required. Passwords should not be sent through the website or placed in the report.

Does the Checkup certify compliance or guarantee security?

No. It is an operational review that identifies observed strengths, gaps and next actions. It is not a certification, legal opinion or guarantee that incidents will not occur.

A defined process before any paid work begins.

Professional services are easier to approve when the scope, evidence, deliverables and responsibilities are clear from the outset.

01

Initial conversation

A 30-minute discussion about the organization, its existing IT/MSP and the business question that needs an answer.

02

Scope & proposal

CyberTECT provides a written scope describing the evidence, deliverables, responsibilities, investment and expected timeline.

03

Review or validation

The agreed work is completed through documentation, interviews, demonstrations, configuration review or controlled validation appropriate to the service.

04

Findings & direction

Leadership receives clear findings, prioritized recommendations and practical options for implementation or ongoing oversight.

The smallest suitable engagement comes first. If a focused Checkup or Validation answers the business question, CyberTECT will not recommend a broader Review merely to make the project larger.
