Cloud IT for Small Businesses

Get your cloud accounts, security and backups managed, with someone to turn to when you need remote IT help.

  • Microsoft 365
  • Google Workspace
  • Your other cloud tools
  • Remote across Canada
  • Small teams & solo businesses
  • Customer-owned accounts
  • Security & backup included

The cloud IT work you need handled.

One service for the accounts, protection and day-to-day administration your business relies on. We confirm the covered systems during your fit review.

Managed endpoint MDR

Managed detection and response (MDR) for covered endpoints. DNS/web protection and dark-web exposure monitoring are included as well.

Advanced email threat protection

Advanced protection for business email against phishing and other malicious messages.

Managed cloud backup

We provide and manage cloud backup for agreed cloud data. The fit review confirms what is covered.

Cloud workspace administration

Administration of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and your agreed cloud applications. Keep settings, permissions and responsibilities organized as your business changes.

User onboarding & offboarding

Add staff, change access and remove departing users through an approved request process. Know who has access and who can authorize changes.

NordPass & sign-in guidance

NordPass administration and help with MFA setup and recovery steps for the services you use. You keep control of your authenticator devices and recovery methods.

Remote troubleshooting & vendor help

Help with covered cloud accounts, email and protected-system issues during agreed service hours. We coordinate with vendors or your existing IT provider when needed.

Fewer loose ends. Clear responsibilities.

Staff changes have a process

New users receive the right accounts. Departing users have access removed through an approved path.

Backups and alerts get attention

Endpoint MDR and advanced email threat protection are included. Backup covers the agreed cloud data, and security alerts have a response path.

You know who holds the keys

Your accounts and licenses stay yours. Customer-approved access and responsibilities are clear, so your business can rely on more than one person’s memory.

Remote cloud IT, with practical boundaries.

CyberTECT manages cloud systems, accounts, security, backup and remote operations. Your current IT provider can remain involved.

What the fit review confirms

  • Your cloud platforms, users and systems to be protected.
  • Which cloud data is included in backup.
  • Support hours, request handling and escalation expectations. This is defined remote support, with no promise of unlimited traditional helpdesk coverage.
  • Who authorizes account changes and customer-approved administrative access.

What is outside the monthly service

  • Microsoft and Google licenses, which you purchase and retain.
  • Onsite support, cabling, Wi-Fi installation, server deployment, hardware repair and printer maintenance. Your local provider or technician handles these.
  • Major projects and deeper GRC engagements. Any setup, migration, remediation, unusual backup storage or additional product cost is identified before approval.

With your authorization, we share cloud-side findings and coordinate physical-work handoffs with your provider. You retain ownership of your cloud accounts, data, domains and licenses.

How CyberTECT fits alongside other IT support.

CyberTECT Cloud IT

Ongoing remote cloud administration, security and backup for small teams across Canada. $79 per user; onsite infrastructure is outside the service.

Traditional onsite provider

A fit when you need local infrastructure and physical support. Cloud services, security and recovery depend on the provider’s offering.

Internal or break-fix IT

Your staff or a technician handles work as needed. Ongoing security, backup and documentation need explicitly assigned owners.

Know how the business stays in control.

Cloud IT keeps your cloud systems protected and supported. GRC and readiness examine ownership, access, recovery, vendor dependence and business responsibility in greater depth.

An environment and access review is part of onboarding. Deeper GRC work is separately scoped and priced; it is optional unless an identified gap must be addressed before service can start.

From a fit review to ongoing management.

Start with a conversation about your team and the systems you use. No passwords or access codes are needed for the enquiry.

Fit review

You explain your setup and main concern. We confirm remote fit, responsibilities and the next step.

Environment & access review

You identify the systems and an authorized contact. We review ownership, required access and gaps.

Protection & administration setup

You approve the written scope. We configure protection, backups and the process for account changes.

Ongoing remote management

We manage covered systems, handle defined requests and handle agreed requests and make user and security changes when they arise.

Before paid work begins: you receive the written scope, monthly total, any separate charges, support hours and agreement term. An enquiry does not enroll you.

Your questions, answered.

Is this full traditional IT support?

No. It is defined remote cloud administration, security, managed cloud backup and agreed troubleshooting. It is not unlimited helpdesk or onsite support.

Is the service completely remote?

Yes. CyberTECT delivers Cloud IT remotely across Canada for agreed cloud systems and remote-accessible devices.

Do I need an existing IT provider?

No for cloud-only needs within the written scope. For onsite networks, printers, physical servers or repair, you need a local provider or technician.

Can CyberTECT manage Microsoft 365?

Yes, for the agreed tenant administration, user access, security and backup responsibilities you authorize.

How are MFA authenticators handled?

CyberTECT helps document and implement the MFA and sign-in protections available in your chosen cloud platform, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or another provider. Your organization controls its authenticator devices, accounts and recovery methods. CyberTECT does not hold or control a personal authenticator app.

Do I buy Microsoft licenses through CyberTECT?

You buy and retain your Microsoft licenses directly. CyberTECT administers the agreed environment through customer-authorized access.

Who owns my tenant and data?

Your organization does. Its tenant, data, domain and licenses remain under its control. CyberTECT receives only the access needed for agreed work, subject to your authorization.

Can CyberTECT work with my current IT provider?

Yes. Responsibilities and escalation paths are documented so cloud administration and local IT work have clear owners.

What happens when onsite work is needed?

Your current provider or a suitable local technician handles it. With your permission, CyberTECT coordinates the cloud-side handoff.

Does CyberTECT provide backup?

Yes. CyberTECT provides and manages backup for the cloud data agreed in your scope. The proposal names the product and covered data.

How are users added and removed?

An authorized contact requests and approves changes. CyberTECT applies the agreed access checklist, records actions and escalates exceptions.

Is GRC or a readiness review required?

A focused access and environment review is part of onboarding. A separate GRC or readiness engagement is optional unless an identified gap must be resolved to establish a safe scope; such work is proposed separately.

What size organization is this designed for?

Small Canadian organizations, including one-person businesses. There is no seat minimum. Fit depends on the cloud systems and remote support you need.

What is included in the $79 user price?

The $79 CAD monthly price per covered user includes Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration; managed endpoint MDR; advanced email threat protection; managed cloud backup for agreed data; DNS/web protection; NordPass password-manager administration and sign-in guidance; user onboarding, offboarding and access changes as needed, dark-web exposure monitoring, defined remote troubleshooting and vendor coordination, and ongoing remote support. There is no seat minimum.

How is Cloud IT priced?

Cloud IT is $79 CAD per covered user per month, starting with one user. The fit review confirms covered systems, backup data and support boundaries in the written scope. Microsoft and Google licenses remain customer-owned and are purchased separately. Any one-time setup, migration, remediation, unusual backup storage or additional product cost is identified before approval.

What happens after I submit the form?

CyberTECT reviews your enquiry, contacts you using your preference to arrange a fit conversation, and then provides a written scope and price if the service fits. Do not send passwords, access codes or confidential records.
